I have an area of flagstone in my front yard, and I would like to plant groundcover in the cracks. I saw a picture of blue star creeper with flagstone that was really pretty. Does that grow in this area... I've never seen it! Thanks!
I have some Creeping Red Sedum (dragon's Blood) planted, that stuff will grow in rocks. I have about 3 types of sedum, I'm becoming infatuated with that stuff. It seems like it will grow anywhere, but the Dragon's Blood likes sun to shade. White Delight Phlox is another plant that likes sunny areas as long as there is soil beneath the rocks.
Starburst Ice plants are a neat looking plant. It is a succulent plant, not sure about rocks though.
Blue star creeper does grow here, but its bloom season is short (a month at best). If I was looking to fill cracks I really like dychondra grass (looks like little green lily pads!) for shade to part sun spots or wooley or creeping thyme (fragrant!) for sunny spots.
