Cold Nights with an Itch to Transplant

We just moved from Houston, TX to Lubbock, TX & I brought all of my plant friends with me.  However, they have to stay in the garage for now, because it's still getting down to freezing temperatures some nights -- even after daytime temps in the upper 70s.  What's my threshold night time low before I can get these guys in the ground?

Thanks!

Welcome to Lubbock.  I think it all depends on what type of plants you brought with you.  Maybe  a LRN moderator will answer pretty soon.  I believe our last average frost date is April 15th.  Hardening off would be best due to the high winds, I assume it is a lot drier and a bit hotter here than in Houston.  If your plants are all in containers, a temporay cover should protect them from any more frost assuming they not tropical.  Gotta watch out for that hail though....lots of mine were shredded this evening.
